HOW TO STAY ON TRACK DURING THE HOLIDAYS
The holidays are always a challenging time of year. Between the stress and scheduling challenges and all of the delicious food, it's no wonder most people stray away from their goals. To stay on track, here are a few tips to navigate the holidays:
1. Plan ahead - plan and prepare your meals so you avoid falling into the trap of holiday goodies. Schedule in your workouts so you increase the likelihood of showing up to the gym.
2. Keep it simple - you are much more likely to stick to your plan if it is simple and easy to do. We spend so much energy during the holidays, our diet and fitness plans should be built in to our routine.
3. Find balance - you should also enjoy your life. The holidays are a special time for connecting with our loved ones. Learn how to say no to some things, but allow space to have a good time.
4. Keep the greater goal top of mind - regularly remind yourself of your ambitions. Write them down, create reminders in your phone, or even write post-it notes on your mirror as a reminder of the big picture.

The goal of any fitness, diet, or health routine is not to rob us of joy, but rather to make us better so that we can show up fully in our lives. Change the narrative so that you are excited about taking on the challenge, and appreciate the time you have to spend with loved ones when you get the chance!
